- Summary: Thousands of Serbs took to the streets of Kragujevac to show their support for one of Yugoslavia's opposition parties, the Movement for Democratic Serbia. Former Yugoslav Army Chief-of-Staff Momcilo Perisic addressed the rally as did representatives of the student organisation Otpor (Resistance) and the Council for Democratic Change. The protest, called Get up Serbia! was held two weeks ahead of a joint Serbian opposition rally which is expected to take place in Belgrade on April 14.
