- Summary: A middle-aged man has been arrested after he jumped a barrier fence as Belgium's King Albert and Queen Paola waited to greet the Spanish royal couple. The man, aged about 50, was dragged away by police after he clambered over a metal barricade outside the Royal Palace in central Brussels. The Belgian royally were standing some 50 metres (yards) away in the Palace courtyard waiting for the arrival of Spain's King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia at the start of a four-day visit.
