- Story Text: President Robert Mugabe's government has said it will
go ahead with plans to seize more than 800 white-owned farms
in Zimbabwe despite only narrowly winning parliamentary
elections.
But Zimbabwe's white farmers union has said the
confiscation of land for black resettlement could be tied up
for some time in the courts if farmers mount hundreds of legal
challenges.
