- Story Text: The stars came out on Sunday (December 3) night for the 64th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade.
More than one million people were estimated to have lined up to see parade Grand Marshal Tony Danza and other celebrities such as David Hasselhoff of the lifeguard television series 'Baywatch' join a parade that also included 14 marching bands and 20 floats.
For many of the stars the event is a chance to meet the people who tune in to their television shows.
Danza said he tried to greet as many people as he could.
The parade was broadcast all around the world via United States Armed Forces Television.
Hasselhoff said: "I've walked through Europe and people would come up to me and say I saw you on the Christmas parade, the kids sure are growing".
