- Story Text: A change of rules for 2017 sees longer, wider, faster Formula One cars destined for the season's 20 races.
The new cars will produce more downforce and will ride around corners faster as the sport's new administrators, Liberty Media, attempt to improve the racing's appeal.
After three constructors' titles on the trot Mercedes F1 come back again with 2015 champion Lewis Hamilton looking for his fourth world championship title.
He is joined by Finn Valtteri Bottas who has joined Mercedes from Williams. He fills the vacancy caused by the sudden and unexpected retirement of the 2016 world champion Nico Rosberg, a few days after winning the title.
Next up is Red Bull, the team that finished second last season, with Daniel Ricciardo of Australia and Max Verstappen of the Netherlands.
Ferrari have been proving fast in testing with drivers Sebastian Vettel of Germany and Kimi Raikkonen of Finland.
Continuing their campaign to mix it at the top comes Force India with Sergio Perez of Mexico and Esteban Ocon of France.
The new VJM10 car will now stand out on the grid in the pink colours of a new sponsor. - Copyright Holder: FILE REUTERS (CAN SELL)
