- Story Text: The Rolling Stones have arrived in Tokyo for the Japan leg of their "Bigger Bang World Tour".
The legendary band - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood and their support musicians - landed late Thursday (March 16) for their fifth concert tour in Japan to loyal fans.
The famous rocker were greeted with cheers and flowers by die-hard fans who sneaked through security guards and Mick Jagger didn't disappoint them, taking a quick moment to greet them. "Hello, how are you? Nice to be in Japan. Nice to be back. Looking forward to concert very much," Jagger said.
Despite the fact that the arrival date was not open to the public, about a hundred determined fans flocked to Narita airport hoping to catch a glimpse of the band. For many it was rare opportunity of a lifetime to see the band live.
"I am so excited because it has been three years since I saw them last in Japan. I suppose this will be their last visit to Japan and I don't afford to go abroad. I got so excited to the extent that I have neither been sleeping nor eating since last night," said Mariko Takagi.
The band will kick off the concert on March 22 at the Tokyo Dome. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
