Summary:In 1933, Hollywood was the promised land to millions of girls who dreamed of a career on the silver screen. Accordingly, thousands of them flocked to the film city from all over the world - hoping that, somehow, they would be picked from the crowd and made into stars. It happened for a few. But for hundreds more each day, it was a matter of lining up in front of the casting directors - and then walking out again into oblivion. NOTE: Date is approximate.
