  • Story Text: Model Noemi Letizia has denied any illicit relationship with Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi and that she caused the break-up of his marriage.
    Model Noemi Letizia was back in the spotlight on Monday (September 7) denying that she had anything to do with the break up of prime minister Silvio Berlusconi's marriage.
    The wife of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said in April that she wanted a divorce because she can no longer stop him from "looking ridiculous before the world."
    In a recently revised edition of a biography, Veronica Lario said she had no choice but to leave Berlusconi after newspapers said he had attended Noemi's 18th birthday party. He told her he was at a conference.
    In an interview which has been running on Italian television Noemi said she had nothing to do with the split although she said she had given Berlusconi the nickname 'Daddy' because she was very fond of him.
    Berlusconi has denied any wrongdoing.
