- Story Text: New ways of fighting malnutrition are being studied at a special seminar in Addis Ababa this week. Eight English-speaking African countries are taking part, and their delegates include nutrition experts, social workers and development officials.
When the two-day session opened on Monday, attention focused on existing nutrition programmes in Africa and measures for improving them. The participants last week spent several days at the Dag Hammarskjoeld Centre in Sweden examining the causes of malnutrition and its social and economic consequences.
