Summary:The Earls Court auditorium on June 8 1934 was the scene of the biggest Fascist rally ever held in Britain. Chief propagandist for the Fascist cause was former cabinet minister Oswald Mosley. At one time, he commanded some 15,000 Fascists in Britain. Although the Fascist following in the early 1930's was large, the movement faded as the threat of Hitler grew. Mosley himself was interned at the outbreak of World War II. Later, he left Britain to live in France.
