Summary:Engelbert Dollfuss, Chancellor of Austria, was murdered by Nazis who broke into the chancellery in Vienna on July 25 1934. He became Austria's leader in 1932 at the age of 40. He began suppressing political opposition and modeled Austria on the lines of Mussolini's Italy.
