  • Story Text: Magical mystery and mastery materialised in Germany, as U.S.magician David Copperfield began his Germany tour in Baden-Baden on Friday night (October 23) Copperfield's latest magical show "You!" is being shown across Germany over the next three months.
    Spectators in this southern German town, Baden-Baden turned up in droves to watch Copperfield's latest breath-taking tricks.But it was a mixed reception that met Copperfield's acts, as spectators could not agree whether they liked what they saw.
    In his time Copperfield has performed some extraordinary stunts - including making the Statue of Liberty disappear - 'walking' through the Great Wall of China - and even flying across the Grand Canyon.
    But they weren't that impressed in Germany! One Copperfield fan thought the illusions were well performed, while an older woman said there was too much talking and not enough action.
    And for his next trick....Copperfield will be performing in the German cities of Frankfurt, Oberhausen and Nuremberg.
