  • Story Text: World renowned pianist, Richard Clayderman has visited Venezuela to promote his new album dedicated to the South American nation.
    French pianist Richard Clayderman visited Venezuela, after more than 12 years, to promote his latest album "In Venezuela."
    The pianist put in a live performance on television to present his new album.
    "This is my new album, dedicated to Venezuela, some of the themes are very well known, there are titles such as 'Titanic", Barbara Streisand's songs, Elton John's songs, I also play two duets with a little Chinese pianist (Shao Rong) who is adorable and two Venezuelan songs specifically for Venezuela, 'Venezuela' and 'Caballo Viejo' ('Old Horse')."
    The artist's new album also includes songs such as the "Chinese Garden" which he plays with Shao Rong.
    After Venezuela, the artist will go on with his world tour and visit Colombia as well as a few Asian countries.
    Clayderman with a 20-year long career, has broken world sales records by selling 65 million albums.In Venezuela alone he has sold more than one million records.
    Many consider that Richard Clayderman has popularized the piano more than anyone since Beethoven.
