- Story Text: Film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gerard Depardieu, Patrick Swayze and Luke Perry officially opened Moscow's first Planet Hollywood on Tuesday (September 24).
Moscow police had to close off a main thoroughfare to accommodate the huge crowds who gathered, not to eat at the restaurant, but to gawk at the former Mr. Universe turned Hollywood star, whose action movies are wildly popular in Russia.
Schwarzenegger thanked the crowd for making his movies so successful and said he hoped fans would like his restaurant as well.
The restaurant will seat 526 people and hold movie memorabilia such as one of Marilyn Monroe's dresses and the ice pick used by Sharon Stone in "Basic Instinct." The Moscow Planet Hollywood is the 37th in the chain. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
