- Story Text: Some relieved members of the France rugby team on Sunday (September 11) relaxed in the pool as part of their recovery, following a tough win over Japan in their opening Rugby World Cup match on Auckland's North Shore.
The match on Saturday (September 10) was in the balance for much of the second half, only for three late tries to secure a somewhat flattering 47-21 result for the French.
Lock Pascal Pape, scrumhalf Dimitri Yachvilli, flyhalf Francois Trinh-Duc and prop Fabien Barcella sat in an outdoor pool.
The team had the day off the training field on Sunday but will back into things on Monday (September 12) as they switch their focus to their next pool A match against Canada in Napier next weekend. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
