- Story Text:Thousands gathered on Sunday (April 9) at Stockholm's central square near the site of Friday's attack to show support for those killed or injured when a hijacked beer delivery truck hurtled down a busy shopping street before crashing into a store and catching fire.
The multi-ethnic nature of the Swedish metropolis was on display throughout the crowds that gathered in a show of unity against violence and held a minute of silence for the victims.
The suspect, an Uzbek man detained by the police a few hours after the attack, rammed a truck into a crowd in Stockholm, killing four people and injuring 15 on Friday (April 7).
Swedish police said on Sunday the suspect had expressed sympathy for Islamic State and was wanted for failing to comply with a deportation order. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
