Points decided all nine boxing finals at the Mediterranean Games in Athens, Greece on Wednesday (July 3).
In the first of the evening, Soner Karagoz of Turkey beat Spain's Abdellah Kouzibra in the 51-kilogram category.
Greece gained its first gold medal of the games when Agathangelos Tsiripidis outpointed Oscar Vega of Spain in the 54kg division.
The 57kg category saw Yugoslavia's Ljubisa Simic beat Turkey's Vahdettin Issever.
France took the next two titles on offer, with Bruno Wartelle outpointing Kamal Marjouan of Morocco and Said Bennajem beating Ghani Abdel of Egypt in the 60 and 67kg categories respectively.
Syria took the gold in the 71kg division, when Ghayat Taifour beat Yugoslavia's Moustafa Ilir.Yugoslavia also suffered defeat in the 75kg category, with Dragomir Poleksik losing to Ahmed Dine of Algeria.
France gained its third gold, when Patrice Aoussi beat Italy's Robert castelli in the 81kg division.
The final bout of the evening saw local boxer Georgios Stefanopoulos outpointed by Zeljko Mavrovic in the 91kg category.
