- Story Text: Hundreds of people have demonstrated in central Berlin against NATO's bombing of Yugoslavia.
The demonstration took place on Saturday (May 8) after at least three people were killed and 21 injured in a misguided NATO attack on the Chinese embassy in Belgrade on Friday.
NATO has expressed its deep regret over the incident but has said the raids would go on.
Despite Russian anger over the embassy bombing, Yeltsin's special envoy on the Balkan crisis, Viktor Chernomyrdin, flew to Germany on another leg of his shuttle diplomacy.
Chernomyrdin was expected to have talks with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and U.N.special envoy Carl Bildt in Bonn. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
