- Story Text: About 150,000 motor racing fans crammed into the
Nuerbergring to see the European Grand Prix and saw local hero
Michael Schumacher take the chequered flag in his Ferrari.
The crowd basked under clear skies and hot sun as
Schumacher dominated the race from the start, finishing ahead
of Juan Pablo Montoya in a Williams. But there was
disappointment for the winner's younger brotyher Ralf, who
started the race on the front of the grid but missed out on
the ritual champage spraying celebrations on the podium when
he brought his Williams home in fourth place.
