- Story Text: A win for Emmanuel Macron, is forecast by two psychics using different methods of "telling the future," matching polling results for the upcoming French presidential elections.
Catherine Cavaya, who uses automatic writing among other psychic methods, bet on a victory for independent centrist candidate Macron against far-right National Front candidate Marine Le Pen in the second-round run-off of the presidential election on May 7.
According to her, Le Pen's National Front will nevertheless benefit from a significant surge in parliamentary seats in the coming legislative elections.
She also predicted a close third place for conservative Francois Fillon and an unexpected alliance between far-left Melenchon and Socialist Benoit Hamon.
Cavaya subscribes to a process called "automatic writing" for 15 years. Her gimmick sentence - "the world is talking to you" - enables her to access her deep sensations, allowing them to surface in her writing and then uses them to predict the future, she told Reuters TV.
Valerie Croizet has been using another method of telling the future linked to Feng Shui, a psychic approach based on the analysis of energies present around a person, their home and place of work.
In order to predict the outcome of the French presidential election, Croizet therefore visited each candidate's headquarters to build up their Feng Shui profile.
According to her analyses, she predicted a second-round run-off with Macron facing Le Pen but could not deliver a prophecy on the winner regarding insufficient information on their personal residence and private lives.
Predictions from both soothsayers in fact match current poll results showing a second-round run-off between Macron and Le Pen and then a victory for the centrist candidate on May 7. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
