- Story Text: United States Secretary of State John Kerry held meetings in a Davos hotel on Thursday (January 23), after arriving at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in the Swiss mountain resort from the so-called Geneva II Syria peace talks in Montreux.
Kerry held a meeting with Middle East Quartet Representative Tony Blair in the hotel.
Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, British Prime Minister David Cameron and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon were also seen in the hotel.
Kerry was also due to hold a meeting with Baroness Catherine Ashton, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, later on Thursday.
Kerry is due to address WEF delegates on Friday (January 24, where he is due to give a special address on the Middle East.
