- Story Text: Teri Hatcher is the woman who shakes and stirs legendary secret agent James Bond in the latest 007 adventure, "Tomorrow Never Dies".
The star of Superman was recently voted the sexiest woman in the world by FHM magazine and was in Britain to talk about the latest Bond film -- and her latest title.
As for being the world's sexiest woman, Hatcher says "it's sort of silly".
"I'm taking the flattery with a sense of humour and a grain of salt," she said.
But Hatcher, 31, who beat Friends star Jennifer Anniston and last year's winner, the X Files' Gillian Anderson, to the top spot, said she did feel sexy.
"At four months pregnant, I feel extremely sexy," she laughed.
"I feel it is about as important as you can be as a woman." Sexiness is synonymous with Hatcher's newest role as Paris, the beautiful wife of evil media mogul Elliot Carver in "Tomorrow Never Dies".
Paris comes to a terrible end after Carver, played by British actor Jonathan Price, discovers she and Bond (Pierce Brosnan) are former lovers.
Hatcher said her new role as Bond's old flame was "just perfect" for her at present.
"It's a small role but a very interesting, pivotal role," she said.
Hatcher's part in "Tomorrow Never Dies" may be over but shooting is continuing around Britain. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
