She should have never, ever, ever had to face jail time or incarceration in the UCLA medical facility. Personally I feel Shawn and the people and the people around Lindsay or representing her are responsible. And I want to make one thing clear so you all know this. When Lindsay was supposed to go into Morningstar rehab, they started to reconstruct everything there for Lindsay to accommodate her. Shawn Chapman Holley, Shawn Chapman Holley and Lou Taylor leaked that to the press because they wanted Lindsay to get out sooner and have her at UCLA so she wouldn't spend much time in a rehab. They're destroying my daughter's life. I'm praying that Dina finally, finally gets on the same page with me and does something about this." - Story Text: A judge on Friday (September 24) ordered troubled actress Lindsay Lohan returned to jail to await an October 22 hearing on whether she violated terms of her probation by failing a court-ordered drug test.
Lohan, 24, was handcuffed and taken away from the Beverly Hills courtroom of Judge Elden Fox after he denied her bail, which would have kept her out of jail until the hearing that would determine if she did violate her probation.
The "Mean Girls" actress spent two weeks in jail in August and 22 more days in a residential drug program when a different judge ruled she violated her probation on a 2007 conviction for drunken driving and cocaine possession.
After being released from rehab, the actress was subject to random drug tests. Late last week, Lohan sent out a series of messages on Twitter admitting she had failed a drug test and saying she was working hard to overcome her battle with substance abuse.
Lohan's father, Michael talked to media after the hearing, blaming his daughter's lawyer for her return to jail.
"To begin with I've been asking that Lindsay go into a rehab all along," said Michael Lohan. "She should have never, ever, ever had to face jail time or incarceration in the UCLA medical facility. Personally I feel Shawn and the people and the people around Lindsay or representing her are responsible. "
Lohan had been released early from jail because of overcrowding, staying only 14 out of a 90-day sentence earlier this summer. The judge's order diminishes the likelihood that Lohan will be released before the October 22 hearing, when her positive drug test will be discussed. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
