Summary:June 14 1946 - Britain's Ernest Bevin was the first to arrive at a resumed session of the Council of Foreign Ministers in Paris. With the Soviet Union's Mr. Molotov, Mr. Byrnes of the United States and Mr. Bidault of France, the conference was attempting to pick up the pieces of a previous meeting which had ended in deadlock over peace agreements in the aftermath of World War II.
