- Story Text: The Croatian Prime Minister starts a two day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, holding meetings with Nikola Spiric, the chairman of Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Croatian Prime Minister has started on Tuesday (November 3) a two day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. She met on Tuesday (November 3) with Nikola Spiric, the chairman of Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Croatian and Bosnian delegations discussed the whole range of open issues between the two neighbouring countries but expressed their satisfaction with the level of understanding and tolerance.
"What I can say with great pleasure is that there is a common will on both sides to work on the open issues in the spirit of tolerance and understanding, and that is the way how countries on their Euro-Atlantic path should behave," Nilola Spiric said.
Jadranka Kosor offered Croatia's full support for Bosnia's efforts to overcome hurdles on its the path to the European Union membership.
"Both of us, during our tête-à -tête talks and during the talks with our delegations, have stressed that we will not only give support, but we will give very concrete and constructive support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its Euro Atlantic path, in every possible regard," Jadranka Kosor said.
"I think it is very important that the message sent by deblocking Croatian talks in process of the joining the European Union is very important not only for Croatia but for Bosnia and Herzegovina as well, and South-East Europe in whole," said Kosor.
Kosor's visit to Bosnia comes a day after the Croatian parliament helped her efforts to lift a major obstacle to Croatia's European Union bid by backing a border arbitration agreement with Slovenia. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
