- Story Text: RadarOnline.com Senior Executive Editor, Dylan Howard, says audio tapes of Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva's conversations not doctored or edited.
As the stream of audio recordings between Mel Gibson and his ex, Oksana Grigorieva, continue to trickle out, a photo of an alleged beaten-up Grigorieva, hit the web on Friday (July 16). The online tabloid releasing all of it, RadarOnline.com, has stepped up to say that they cannot reveal where they are getting the materials, but did say that the recordings are not doctored in any way.
The new photo, which was not made available to Reuters, shows a damaged Grigorieva, according to RadarOnline.com Senior Executive Editor, Dylan Howard.
"It quite clearly shows the two, top, front teeth, one veneer gone, and one tooth chipped. She alleges that Mel Gibson did that to her," said Howard.
Grigorieva mentions the incident in one of the recordings released by RadarOnline. She claims Gibson struck her while she was holding their daughter. An alleged Mel is heard responding, "You deserved it."
Gibson's camp has fought back, saying they have evidence that the recordings were edited. Not so, said Howard.
"We did our own investigations and established that they weren't. And it also ought to be noted that an expert who worked for the CIA and the FBI also has provided evidence to the contrary - to say that these tapes have not been edited or tampered with in any way. And it's rather disingenuous, really, for Mel Gibson's camp to come out and say that these tapes have been doctored, given first, they leveled the argument that first it was extortion, now they're saying it was edited. Perhaps it's time for Mel Gibson to take accountability for the spewings that came out of his mouth, his vile, profane-laced words."
Howard said that RadarOnline has more recordings and will continue to release them in small doses. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
