- Story Text: Charlotte from "Sex in the City" visits the holy city and reassures all four stars have remained friends.
Kristin Davis, or Charlotte, who lives out her dream on Park Avenue in the box office hit "Sex in the City", arrived in Jerusalem on Monday (June 16 ) for a short tour of the holy city before heading south to Israel's Dead Sea to shoot commercials for Israel's popular beauty products, AHAVA.
After crews swarmed to Israel's Ben Gurion International airport to get a shot of Davis, she appeared joyous in a pink stylish tunic accompanied by a handful of security guards.
At a news conference at a Jerusalem hotel on Tuesday (June 17), Davis responded to questions about the current status of the relationship between the gilrs in light of reports they did not get along on the film set.
"Of course we're still friends, we've been working together for ten years we say this all the time and no one listens, I don't know why. We are absolutely still friends and we have gone through an incredible journey together and this later chapter of the journey has been just so just overwhelming and exciting and more than we could have ever ever wished for," Davis told reporters.
Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda recently returned to the big screen, picking up four years from where the hit series left off to tell their tales of love and high fashion in New York.
Davis in her role as Charlotte in the multiple Emmy Award, Golden Globe award-winning television program is the most conservative and positive of the group, the one who places the most emphasis on emotional love as opposed to lust, and is a true romantic.
But in real life, the girls began developing independent careers.
Davis said she was producing a romantic comedy for adults and was surprised at how difficult it is to create a successful movie like 'Sex in the City'.
She is scheduled to travel south for a commercial shoot at the Dead Sea to promote AHAVA products, an internationally renowned skincare collection developed by the Dead Sea Laboratories.
Her Israeli PR agency said she would also take the opportunity to scroll Jerusalem's Old City alleyways and spend a pampering weekend at Yaarot Hacarmel spa in northern Israel.
At the news conference, Davis also revealed her nominee for presidency.
"He's fantastic and it's an exciting time in America that we had a woman and an African American man running. If you had told me this three years ago, I would have thought that you were far too hopeful. So it's a pretty exciting time". - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
