- Story Text: Hundreds of cheerful rugby fans from the the four nations left in the world cup semi-finals in Paris this weekend partied together in the Saint-Germain des Pres area on Saturday (October 13), hours before the kick-off of the England - France game at 9 p.m. (1900 GMT).
Drinking beer and singing songs, the fans danced arm in arm outside bars and cafes, some waving flags from their respective countries.
An England supporter, who identified himself as Mike, told Reuters Television "I think it's very touching. Both sides have played badly, both sides have played well. It's just going to be who performs on the night.
I say England all the way!"
One French fan, wearing a wig and dressed like what one British paper dubbed "the French monster" Sebastien Chabal, screamed "We are going to the final! You know, English boys? You have no chance!"
