- Story Text:Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said on Tuesday (November 22) he was determined to win over Borussia Moenchengladbach in Wednesday's Champions League match.
Calling the hosts "one of the best teams in German history," the former Bayern Munich coach told reporters in Moenchengladbach: "tomorrow, we have a big opportunity to reach the next round because with Barcelona and Celtic Glasgow, that's a very unpleasant group, a very complicated and dangerous group."
Asked to comment on the status of his former club after Borussia Dortmund ended their opponents' unbeaten run this season, Guardiola said he had "full trust" in his successor, Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Declaring himself the "first" Bayern fan, Guardiola said "sooner or later they will be doing what they always do: win, win, win." - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
