  • Story Text: Stars of the romantic comedy "Just Go With It" braved the cold to attend the film's New York premiere on Tuesday (February 8) at the Ziegfeld Theater. Gracing the carpet in her Dolce & Gabbana dress was actress Jennifer Aniston who plays the lead, alongside longtime friend and fellow castmember Adam Sandler.
    Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman was also present at the premiere, and has a supporting role in the movie.
    Sandler is in the role of "Danny," a plastic surgeon, who pretends to be in an unhappy marriage to get close to women. But when he meets "Palmer," a much younger schoolteacher and potentially the woman of his dreams, he decides to be honest. But just this one time it does not work out as he had planned, and Palmer finds his fake wedding ring. Danny enlists his assistant Katherine, portrayed by Jennifer Aniston, as his soon to be his ex-wife in a cover-up lie, and finds himself entangled in a web of lies as they all backfire. Even Katherine's children get involved, and everyone heads to a Hawaiian vacation in a trip that will change their lives.
    "No, we are just two people who work together. We know each other a long time. She knows me pretty well," Sandler told Reuters about his role.
    "I abuse her (Aniston) kindness. She takes care of me, and she helps me with a lie," he added.
    Although Aniston and Sandler have been close friends for years, "Just Go With It" is their first collaboration on the silver screen.
    "Its been a long time. Jennifer wanted to wait until I passed 200 pounds (91 kg) and I finally got there now," joked Sandler about the reason for the long hold-off.
    When Aniston cried out in disbelief Sandler assured her that his current weight is "205."
    American fashion model Brooklyn Decker plays the role of "Palmer." The film is Decker's first performance on screen, and the actress said that she was honored by the experience.
    "It was so nerve wracking but amazing. To learn from them on my first movie was just such an unbelievable experience, and I don't think you can really, you know, look at the best dramatic actress, and Nicole Kidman is up there with them, and same with comedies and Jen. So to learn from the two of them was just so humbling and so fun. I loved it," the 21-year-old said.
    Bailee Madison plays Aniston daughter "Maggie" in the movie. Madison said that she was very comfortable on set. She said that Sandler, unlike in the movie, was nice to her and Griffin Gluck, who plays her younger brother in the film.
    "Oh, not rough at all. So much fun, a big goofball. The entire crew is a big goofball. I mean, they have all known each other for a really long time because Adam (Sandler) uses the same crew. It was just, they all felt so comfortable with each other and he definitely took me and Griffin (Gluck) underneath his wing, and and really showed us around the comedy site," she said.
    "Just Go With It" will open in theaters in the United States on February 11th.
