- Story Text: Alleged Tiger Woods mistress Joslyn James launched a scathing attack against her former lover on Monday (April 5), calling the golfing legend "a big fat liar".
With her lawyer, Gloria Allred by her side, James launched the personal attack during at a press conference in New York City.
James watched Woods' press conference in Augusta, Georgia on television, and spoke with reporters immediately after.
"It's still a big malarky. He's not truthful, he's not honest. He should be focusing this time right now, instead of returning to golf so quickly on his family, his loved ones that he says he loves so dearly and repairing the relationships with them and the others that he hurt throughout this," James says.
"I also don't feel that he says that he saw things clearly after his father died and after the birth of his children because after the birth of his first daughter Sam, he was with me 10 days later. So I'm not really seeing the sincerity of anything that he's saying and I think he's still a big fat liar and I really really hope he has told Elin the truth because she deserves the truth and we all deserve an apology those of us who were hurt all throughout this," James says.
Allred, who is representing James and another of Woods' alleged mistresses, Rachel Uchitel, says the golf champion owes James an apology.
"He needs to be taking full responsibility. And I don't think the press should be allowed to let him just move on, without taking full responsibility. He has to contact Joslyn and apologise for lying to her. Lying to her when he told her there was no other woman, except for his wife, lying to her when he told her they would have a lifetime together which obviously he didn't mean. It's not okay to lie to any woman including someone with whom you are having an extra-marital affair," Allred says.
James appeared to shake her head at times during Woods' press conference, and often looked to her lawyer, for support.
"The last time I spoke to him was by text message around Thanksgiving which is pretty common during the holidays to wish him a happy holiday and that was the last time that I you know, spoke to him through text message. Last time I saw him physically was October 4th. During that was just you know, he was carrying on so many other things with so many people and with me. If he was having such a bad time and things were so bad, why did he continue the relationship with me, why did he pursue me the way that he did? It just doesn't make any sense to me. He was having a good time from what he told me," James revealed.
"We've previously released a text from Tiger Woods to her which said 'You please me like no other has or ever will'," Allred added.
James said she planned to return to her career as an adult industry film star, and that she would be performing the 'Pink Pony' strip club in Georgia while Woods played in the Masters Tournament.
Tiger Woods took full responsibility on Monday (April 5) for the marital infidelities which have led to his startling fall from grace and admitted he had lied and deceived a lot of people.
The scandal around Woods erupted after he crashed his car outside his Florida home in the middle of the night in November, a bizarre incident that triggered a storm of media speculation over his private life.
The minor accident led to a parade of women alleging publicly they had had affairs with the golfer. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
