- Story Text: Letter boxes around the world will take on the smell of Swiss chocolate next month as scented postage stamps go on sale. The limited edition celebrates the 100th anniversary of Switzerland's chocolate industry federation.
The latest commemorative stamp from Switzerland is sure to please chocolate lovers. The stamp not only looks like a square of chocolate on an open foil wrapper, but smells like it too.
The Swiss chocolate scent is sealed in tiny capsules in the stamp; and to release the delicious aroma, you just have to rub it slightly.
The limited edition stamps will go on sale May 2 to mark the centenary of Chocosuisse, the Swiss chocolate producers' federation, which was founded in 1901 to bring together Swiss manufacturers such as Lindt, Nestle and Tobler, which are among today's leading brands.
This is probably not the first scratch-and-sniff stamp but it's certainly one of the only ones worth licking. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
