- Story Text: Argentine rugby team Los Pumas hit the pitch on Tuesday (September 27) to train ahead of their upcoming match against New Zealand's All Blacks.
Three weeks ago, Los Pumas surprised the world champions with a strong showing in Hamilton. Although the South American side lost, it put the All Blacks on guard.
Player Santiago Cordero said the team needs to keep working.
"I believe we evolved enough over time because power never won and in little time we won twice against South Africa, one time against Australia and well, we want to beat New Zealand and continue evolving our game," he said.
And another player, Juan Manuel Leguizamon, said efficiency is key.
"Above all we need to focus on ourselves and make our game plan the most efficient possible because we know that if it is not so, New Zealand is a team that can put a lot of pressure on you. It won't give you any air so we need to make sure our movements are as efficient as possible," he said.
