- Story Text: Have you found that work and daily chores at home take up all of your time? Enter Enviego the company that aims to take all the hassle out of city life.
For city workers after a long hard day at the office, household chores and the needs of family can be a job too far leaving them with almost no free time.
Booking holidays, looking after children or fixing the boiler are seen as jobs that eat into free time leaving workers tired and stressed.
Now UBS, one of the world's biggest banks has recognised the problem and turned to Europe's fastest growing Lifestyle management company for help. For a small monthly deduction from their salary UBS employees can use Enviego for a host of different chores taking the strain off daily life. The service also includes health advice, with qualified nurses on call to check you over and offer advice.
Enviego will do just about anything for clients as managing director Tom Shorten explained, "We'll do everything from getting a plumber coming round to fix your boiler, to getting an electrician to put up some pilot lights, to arranging a dog walker, to arranging your holiday, to arranging even your wedding and also we can arrange a baby-sitter, give you advice on elderly care should you need it, or if you're going away on holiday you can phone the health line to get tips on the vaccinations needed on let's say your trip to Jamaica."
Before going to Jamaica and after booking the baby-sitter, UBS employees can also use the service to make sure they have dinner reservations or even theatre tickets and while there the plumber could be at home fixing pipes or boilers while chatting with the baby-sitter! It's a service that UBS believe will please staff. "I actually think it's pretty attractive bank to work for anyway, it's just that having the flexible benefits package actually adds to that and I'm sure it will actually help to attract and retain our employees." said Chris Ashford, Director of Human Resources at UBS Asset Management in London.
But how do you know that the window cleaner in your house, while you're at work isn't just sitting around drinking and eating his way through your kitchen. "We have thirteen hundred (1300) service providers working for Enviego currently across the UK and they all go through a thirty (30) point vetting procedure and we operate a strict three strikes and you're out policy. We also have a test group of clients that we use to test the service providers before they go into the main body of clients," said Tom Shorten.
With such quality and variety of services, Enviego has proved a hit with UBS staff. Over fifty employees signed up for the service on the first day it was offered and the number has climbed everyday since then.
But unfortunately for men using the service, not all service providers, used by UBS look like the women here. - Copyright Holder: FILE REUTERS (CAN SELL)
