Popular costume shop Ricky's in New York City has a 'pup-up' shop to help pet owners find the perfect look for Halloween.
The pooch-perfect looks range from traditional witches and devils to current pop culture icons.
"This is very popular. It's a Katy Perry inspired costume for dogs, small or large. As well as then we offer dog wigs as well to match. So you can kind of have the full, you know, Katy Perry experience for your pup," said Lorne Lucree, the director of marketing for the store.
Shopper Mary Ann Hatch said she won't be dressing up this year but she sees some costumes for her four legged pal.
"I like the rock star. Trying to find a devil, because she's pretty funny," said Hatch.
As always, Hollywood is dictating many costume choices this year.
The popular television show "Breaking Bad," which finished its run this season, is an easy pick for both men and women.
"Unisex we are seeing our 'making bad' costumes. So this is our take on Walter White. We're seeing both men and women actually are gravitating towards this since the finale of the show. So it's very popular," said Lucree.
Other top costumes Lucree says include 1920s flapper looks inspired by the film "The Great Gatsby" and Miley Cyrus. The pop star's current reign has some mocking her new image.
This year Ricky's is providing shoppers with the opportunity to work with professionals to create an original look.
For shoppers who put their all into a costume like Laura Diaz - that's a welcome option.
"I was thinking of being a zombie for this year and I was like looking up some tutorials of how to do the makeup and how to have the scars look really real," she said.
