- Story Text: Italian police on January 4 released four photographs of the gunmen who attacked Rome Airport on December 27. The names of the three who were killed are still not known, but the sole surviving gunman has said that his name is Yasser Bou, after first giving it as Mohamed Sharam. Eighteen people were killed in the attack when the gunmen opened fire with machineguns and grenades on travellers and staff at the check-in counter of the Israeli airline E1 A1. The surviving gunman has told police he is one of 300 fighters from Palestinian refugees camps being trained with Libyan backing for suicide attacks on European airports. The 19-year-old gunman also said the Rome attack and the twin assault at Vienna airport were organized in Beirut.
