- Story Text:Hollywood star Antonio Banderas opened an exhibition of his own photographic works in the centre of the Russian capital on Tuesday (September 13) to launch his fragrance 'Queen of Seduction'.
The exhibit entitled 'Women in Gold' is being staged at the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow and aims to illuminate Banderas' muse for his fragrance.
During the exhibition the Spanish actor said he was teaming up with top model Natalia Vodianova to raise funds for her charity the Naked Heart Foundation. For every purchase of Banderas' fragrance $1.50 will be donated to Vodianova's charity. Funds raised in sales of Banderas' photographic works from the exhibition would also go toward the main programmes of the Naked Heart Foundation.
Banderas told reporters on Tuesday he was not a professional photographer and instead was trying to have fun exploring a personal passion.
"I just decided to go completely wide and don't do actually fashion pictures. These are no fashion pictures, most of these pictures are almost theatrical, they are filled basically with irony and humour. In the end it is about that, you know," Banderas said of his efforts on the opposite side of the camera.
The exhibition will be open to the public until November 3rd.
Vodianova's foundation, established in 2004, is a children's charity that focuses primarily on providing services to families in Russia that have children who suffer from developmental disorders and building inclusive play facilities for children. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
