- Story Text: Some 70 people from the Chinese community and some Malays gathered near the Independent square central of Kuala Lumpur on Monday (March 10) night to pray for passengers of the missing plane, Malaysia Airline flight MH370.
The group lit candle lights on the side-road's ground in letters shape reading: 'Pray for MH370' to show their moral support to families and hope for survival of the passengers and crews aboard Malaysia airline's Boeing 777 that has gone missing in the South China sea between Malaysia and Vietnam since Saturday (March 8).
"News on TV and radio keep appealing people to pray for passengers and family (of flight MH370). So, I think we better get together and pray, rather than praying alone at home. I think this is more suitable." said Low Ling Fei, 36 years old real estate broker who organised the gathering.
Ling Fei used social media on Sunday (March 9) to get everyone together.
"We must have hope. If we give up hope, then who will support the family (of passengers). So I think everyone should keep giving them (family) hope." he added.
An air and sea search, now in its third day, has failed to find any confirmed trace of the plane. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
