- Story Text:Fans of Real Madrid and Juventus gathered at a bar in Cardiff owned by Real forward Gareth Bale on Saturday (June 3) to watch the game and voice their elation at Real's 4-1 win.
With no giant screens erected for fans without tickets to come together, many Juve and Madrid fans sought out the Elevens Bar and Grill.
At Elevens, passionate Madrid supporters outnumbered their rivals. They suffered hype and nail-biting moments during the game, and loudly celebrated every one of the four goals the Madrid side scored.
Real Madrid has become the first team to win the present format of the Champions League two seasons running.
Italian giants Juventus, twice European champions, have not won it since 1996 and have lost, with Saturday's, a record seven finals. Their fans elegantly conceded defeat, many simply accepting the team did not measure up to their rivals. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
