- Story Text:The German national team held its last training session on Sunday (June 18) ahead of the Confederations Cup opening game against Australia in Sochi on Monday (June 19).
The largely inexperienced German squad - which only includes three 2014 world champions - will play their first match at the Olympic Fisht stadium on Monday (June 19) and said they see no other result but a victory against the Socceroos.
In the Confederations Cup opening game on Saturday (June 17) hosts Russia eased to a 2-0 win over New Zealand, while Mexico and Portugal played out a 2-2 draw in Sunday's first match. Cameroon take on Chile later on Sunday.
