Summary:In May 1960 one of Nazi Germany's most notorious executioners, Adolf Eichmann, was brought to book by Israeli agents. Eichmann was the SS commander who formalised Hitler's plan to destroy the Jewish people. Eichmann drew up the plans for transporting them to the concentration camps and the mass killings which followed. Eichmann was tried in Israel and later hanged for crimes against humanity.
