11.11.16 WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT'S JUDGEMENT TODAY?
11.11.38 ...what the Court has objected to is a number of very specific provisions which in their view are not in compliance with the constitutional principles...
11.12.14 WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS FOR THE AREAS THE COURT REJECTED?
11.13.25 ...the framework for the relationship between Central & Provincial governments are in the principles. It's not a new framework that everybody has to find. The only question that arises is whether the New Constitution captures that framework.
11.13.52 The question the Court has raised is perhaps in 1/2 specific areas, the powers of Provinces may be less than they are under the Interim Constitution...
11.14.39 ...the good thing about this Judgement of course, is that it enhances the legitimacy of the New Constitution...
11.15.24 ANY INDICATION THAT THE IFP WILL RE-ENTER CONSTITUTIONAL WRITING PROCESS?

11.18.43 INTERVIEW: GERRIE BEZUIDENHOUT [SACOB]
11.18.58 ...happy with the general findings of the Court. On the Labour Relations clause specifically there are 2 important aspects for us: we are very pleased with the Court's ruling that individual employers will also have the right to collective bargaining...
11.19.30 ...our objection was that if the right to strike is entrenched in the Constitution, the right to lock-out should also be entrenched. The Court didn't rule in our favour as far as that is concerned but the Court did say that employers have the right to use economic power in collective bargaining...
11.19.53 ...Court also didn't declare unconstitutional the Labour4 Relations Act which does give employers the right to lock-out....
