“Well I want to confirm what comrade Itumeleng has said the ANC has always been upfront on the question of national unity. We are concerned with the unity not only of Blacks in this country but of the entire population, our main position is that we should forget the past and think in terms of the future of our country. We are aware that all our people Black and White are worried about their position in this process of transformation and we would like to assure everybody that we have their interest at heart but of course the unity of liberation is a question of paramount importance not that we want to gang up against other national groups after all the freedom charter is one of the devastating documents on the question of racialism and but nevertheless. The question of the unity of liberation movement is extremely important and therefore we keep on consulting with all the sanctions of liberation movement to see how we can speak in one voice on the numerals issues facing us and this was the crux the theme of this meeting unfortunately we are limbering under constrains of time and we’ve had chain before we have taken decision on the number of matters in witch we start from a position where we see eye to eye as how problem should be solved and we hope will have something even more constructive, more tangible, more concrete the next time we meet… Thank you. Well are there any questions? I think my comrade is keen to fill the question. Or very good you have none… Thank you… thank you.”
