- Story Text: Russian President Vladimir Putin met China's Vice Premier Wang Yang on Wednesday (September 6) on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok.
Opening the talks, Putin praised economic ties between the two countries and said that the forum was a good platform to expand cooperation further.
"Last year almost 200 Chinese companies were represented at the Eastern Economic Forum and signed contracts for almost two trillion roubles," said Putin addressing Wang Yang and members of the Chinese delegation.
