Mr. Parson is presumed innocent until his trial. This charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison, and up to $250,000 fine. With this arrest, we want to deliver a message to cyber hackers here, and around the world. As the Attorney General of the United States has said, the Department of Justice takes these crimes very seriously.
