(SOUNDBITE) (English) BOB HARTLEY-AVALANCHE HEAD COACH SAYING: "We never thought like in our dressing room that it would end, like, we knew that to win the Stanley Cup would be a long and bumpy road and there would be some great times, there would be some tough times and you look at the Vancouver round, the L.A., St. Louis, Jersey-we played great at times, we played kind of very average at some times but we played hockey for two months and to be very good for two months is quite an accomplishment." 7. (SOUNDBITE) (English) RAY BOURQUE-WITH FAMILY SAYING: "I couldn't breathe the last thirty seconds and it wasn't because I was tired-I was just-it was too much, I was trying to hold off the tears, the emotions. I was on the ice we had a face-off and I had to stay focused and you want it to wait, you know, I only got to relax when there was about seven or ten seconds left. I mean all night-the National Anthem was very tough-you let it open up for just a second and I had tears in my eyes and on the bench a few times you just kind of let your mind drift for a couple seconds and again you gotta regroup and just hold it and wait, wait and the last ten minutes took a long time to run down-I mean lifting the Stanley Cup-what a feeling." 8. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PATRICK ROY-WINNER OF CONN-SMYTHE TROPHY FOR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER IN PLAYOFFS SAYING: "Well, you know, for the little boy from Quebec, I mean I never thought that would happen, I mean other than playing wall hockey and stuff like that but you know it's not as special, to be honest with you, as seeing Ray raising that Cup in the middle of the ice. To see his eyes, how excited he was, I mean these are individual honours, I mean they're always fun to get, don't get me wrong, but there's nothing better than winning."
