There had been no prior warning and fortunately at that moment in time the building was unoccupied, none was working during the night. And despite a pub close by and a busy thoroughfare no one has been injured. The damage is minor and at the present time we are looking at what we believe is a small high-explosive device which has been placed outside the now brick-up former entrance to the sorting office, the entrance has now been moved around the corner and the former entrance has been bricked-up. And clearly we are looking at a high-explosive and as such my suspicions must go towards that this is a further attack by the Real IRA (Real Irish Republican Army). The sinister aspect of this attack was that there was no warning and anyone could have easily been walking past, driving past, the building when the device exploded.
