We found some interesting mummies of ladies with a very unique style of hair that you can even see is a style of today. We found major artifacts such as pottery and lamps and necklaces and bracelets and we found also a wooden facade of a lady as if she is going out for the resurrection." 2.16 9. (SOUNDBITE)(English) ZAHI HAWASS, CHIEF ARCHAEOLOGIST, SAYING "The mummies can teach us a lot about the Greek Roman period because the discovery started three hundred years ago. But to know more about the life of the people we had to bring the X-ray machine here. And we did X-ray for around twenty mummies. We can understand a lot about the life of the people, how they died in that time." 2.44 11. When we entered inside this tomb we had a big surprise. It was the tomb of the mayor of Bahriyah, Gad Khensu Eyuf. This man was very powerful. We know a lot about him before we discover this tomb because he built a temple in Bahriyah and he showed himself equal to the king. And when we did read the name in hieroglyphic, inside the tomb, it was a big surprise." 4.08 14.
