These arrangements were not ratified by the executive committee of the FA. I have to say at all times we have acted in the best interests of the FA..and English football in trying to promote our cause here and abroad. Because we have been unable to convince the executive committee of the fact that we have acted in the best interests of everybody the position was reached at the end of a very long day that I have resigned on agreed terms and so that's where we are. REPORTER ASKS IF THE MONEY WAS A BRIBE IN RETURN FOR SUPPORT? (SOUNDBITE)(ENGLISH) KELLY SAYS there have been various constructions put upon the arrangements which we made. Suffice it to say that, as I say, we were acting in the best interests of football, we were acting properly and pursuing the legitimate ends of the Football Association.
