  • Story Text: A man featuring in French police records as becoming radicalised and posing a threat to national security was detained during a police operation in Paris on Thursday (May 26).
    The unnamed man was listed by security services as "Fiche S", reserved for individuals considered to be a threat, but not necessarily resulting in active surveillance.
    A member of his family alerted the police.
    A police source said that early indications were that the man was not of sound mind.
